Vintage Dorothy Bauer UNC Basketball Hoop Tar Heels Brooch Pin Large Signed Rare

  
This is a beautiful vintage pin from Dorothy Bauer for UNC Tar Heels basketball in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. All stones are prong set and present in a silver tone metal. The basketball net does hang and has movement. I have not seen a comparable piece for UNC Basketball. Sized approximately 3" from the top of the UNC letters to the bottom of the net and 1.25" across. Stamped on the back with the maker's mark BAUER. Please use the photos as reference and ask any questions. The photos really do not do this piece justice. In person it is gleaming and shiny and looks great. I was looking for an item to prop up the pin for photos and happened to grab the vintage UNC Chapel Hill school store pencil.
